2015 - 2016

Winds of Change was made during residencies at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary (Kempton, PA) and Powdermill Nature Reserve, Carnegie Museum of Natural History. This body of work explores bird migration and the effects of climate change. Data visualization from ornithologist, cartographers and behavioral biologists depict species in crisis through a lens of beauty rather than fear in the hopes of luring the viewer to ponder their own role in our changing evolution. This work debuted in a solo exhibition at Gross McCleaf Gallery (Philadelphia), the New Bedford Museum of Art (Maine), Biggs Museum of American Art (Delaware), Boxheart Gallery (Pittsburgh) and Zinc Contemporary (Seattle).
